The Home button cable and shield should now be free. To begin, use your security screwdriver to remove the two screws in the bottom of your iPhone 5 that sit on either side of the dock. Remove the top right screw holding the Touch ID cable in place using your #000 screwdriver.

Once the connector has been released, pull the home button end of the assembly away from the rear case, using the top of the phone as a hinge. While holding the iPhone down with one hand, pull up on the suction cup to slightly separate the home button end of the front panel from the rear case. Open the handles to close the jaws of the iSclack.
Replace the two #000 screws on either side of the Home button assembly using your #000 screwdriver again. This time, be sure not to screw the two screws in too tight. If you do, it can prevent the Home button from depressing correctly. You want the screws to be firmly in place but not tight.
